The Department of Theory, Practice and Translation of German of the Faculty of Linguistics, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute invites persons who have completed a complete general secondary education to study for a bachelor's degree.
SPECIALTY 035 PHILOLOGY
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM: 035.043 GERMANIC LANGUAGES AND LITERATURES (TRANSLATION INCLUDED), FIRST LANGUAGE - GERMAN
FORM OF STUDY - FULL-TIME
Passing the National Multidisciplinary Test (NMT) is required (admission based on the results of the NMT 2022 or ZNO certificates of 2020 and 2021 is also possible) and writing a motivation letter.
The NMT is an online computer-based test consisting of three blocks:
- Ukrainian language
- Mathematics
- Subject of your choice: foreign language of choice (English, German, French, Spanish), history of Ukraine, chemistry, physics, biology.

THEREFORE:
for admission to the 1st year of study for a bachelor's degree in the specialty 035 Philology based on complete general secondary education, you need by state order (budget): NMT (ZNO) + motivation letter.
At the expense of individuals and/or legal entities (contract): NMT (ZNO) + motivation letter.
Training at this educational level lasts 4 years.
The competition score is calculated by the formula:
KB = (K1*P1+K2*P2+K3*P3)/(K1+K2+K3)
where K1, K2, K3 are weighting coefficients
the sum of the coefficients may not equal 1, so the result is weighted by this amount.
P1, P2, P3 - grades in the respective NMT subjects.
It is worth paying ATTENTION to this point:
The results of the 2020-2021 ZNO in the relevant subjects of the NMT 2022 or NMT 2023 may be counted at the request of the applicant instead of the NMT results if the difference between the results of the ZNO - NMT does not exceed 15 points. But the coefficients will be valid from previous years!
The minimum competitive score for admission under the state order is 130.
The minimum competitive score for admission at the expense of individuals and/or legal entities is 100.
Applicants who have a competitive score of less than 130,000 are not allowed to participate in the competitive selection for a bachelor's degree based on complete general secondary education, except in cases specified in the Admission Procedure and Admission Rules.
Applicants will be able to register an electronic account from July 1, and submit applications from July 19 to July 31.
You can submit up to 5 applications for state-funded programs (budget) with the priority ranking from the highest (1) to the lowest (5) of your choice. Up to 15 applications can be submitted for funds from individuals and/or legal entities (contract).
In total, one person can submit 20 applications for all admission bases and all forms of education. All applications submitted for admission to study under the state order automatically participate in the competition for a contract.
The recommendation for enrollment under the state order will be provided on August 05, and by August 08, you must submit the original documents in person or by using a qualified electronic signature in the applicant's office.
