Associate Professor at the Department of the German language theory and translation

 

Brief information:

In 2007 graduated from the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, qualification of translator and lecturer of German and English.

Since 2007 has been working at the Department of the German language theory and translation.

In 2013 obtained her PhD in Germanic languages with the thesis "The development of the semantics of the philosophical concepts of German language".

Scientific interests: technical competencies of translator, computer-aided translation, tendencies in translation, computer linguistics, corpus linguistics.

Other activities at the department and with students:

Together with the Translatel translation company organizes the Summer School of Translationfor Ukrainian students. Holds workshops on CAT technologies, regular expressions in translation, corpus linguistics and basic programming skills for linguists.
